Strong coupling of surface plasmons to dye molecules: Tailoring dispersion and beyond

Abstract

In the presence of dye molecules, the dispersion curve of SPPs splits into three branches and demonstrates the avoided crossing characteristic of strong coupling. It is further modified by the optical gain in the system.
