Microresonator-Based Parametric Frequency Comb Generation Without an External Pump Laser

Abstract

We demonstrate frequency comb generation spanning 900 nm by utilizing a fiber-microresonator dual-cavity design. Such a scheme eliminates the need for tuning an external pump laser to the microcavity resonance.
