Abstract

Intense Mid-IR pulses with controlled waveforms are an important tool to extend the ponderomotive cut-off in strong field experiments. Especially in high-harmonic generation this can be used towards the generation of water-window harmonics [1]. To compensate for the strongly reduced signal at longer wavelengths (≈ λ−6), higher repetition rates are also desirable, pushing the requirements toward high average power system
