Abstract

Photosensitive materials on flexible substrates with integrated barrier foil is advantageous as the barrier acts as a protector from the unwanted atmospheric elements that degrades the lifetime of the organic-photovoltaic (OPV) modules. The choice of efficient transparent conductive electrodes [1] are one of the important aspects for developing organic optoelectronic devices such as OPV's. Although indium-tin-oxide (ITO) is a popular choice among organic solar cell manufacturers, ultrathin dielectric-metal-dielectric (DMD) has been emerged as a potential alternative due to better flexibility and stability.
