Abstract
Pulsed laser operation in sub-nanosecond region is a topic of great interest both in the fundamental and applied sciences. The applications include light detection and ranging (LIDAR), precision measurements, frequency conversion, material processing [1, 2]. We report on a compact 5 mJ/100 ps laser, designed for 1011 regenerative amplification of ultra-low-energy pulses with up to 1 kHz repetition rate. Flexible design allows broad tunability range of the laser parameters without replacement of the system components. Device dimensions (W×L×H, mm): 200×100×700.
