Abstract
The detection of molecules at low concentration in solution with high sensitivity and specificity has been of great interest in fields such as biomedical research and diagnosis [1,2]. SERS is a technique resulting in strongly increased Raman signals of molecules using metal nanostructures, such as gold and silver besides this method is highly dependent on the interaction between adsorbed molecules and the surface of plasmonic nanostructures. In the last years several researchers strived to optimize substrate structure and configuration to maximize enhancement factors such as new plasmonic materials [3,4] with different shapes and sizes [5-7] that support increased SERS enhancement.
