Abstract
Single photon sources will be of great interest in quantum communication, metrology or random number generation. There is therefore a strong need for reliable and efficient single photon sources that could be compatible with classical techniques used in on-chip integrated optics. In that view, colloidal quantum dots are of primary interest.
