Abstract
The Sr optical lattice clock (Sr:OLC) is regarded as one of the most promising candidates for future frequency standards [1]. The trapping light source for the Sr:OLC is required to have a defined wavelength of 813.42 nm, the output power of more than 1 W and narrow linewidth of less than 1 MHz, and Ti:Sapphire laser is currently available. However, as the light source for the next generation Sr:OLC with smaller size and longer continuous operation time, Ti:Sapphire laser is insufficient due to its large size and short stable operation time. Therefore, we have developed a MOFPA (Master Oscillator Fiber Power Amplifier) system as a new trapping light source for future Sr:OLC.
