Abstract
Microstructured optical fibres (MOFs) are an interesting system for spectroscopic experiments, as they posses unique properties. Among other features (ex. endlessly single-mode guidance, controllable birefringence, high nonlinear factor), the most important property is the possibility of filling MOFs with gases or liquids and investigation of light-media interactions in novel regimes.
