Abstract

We have used the principle of plasmon resonance to amplify the frequency shift signal of whispering gallery mode (WGM) biosensors[1]. Our biosensing platform achieves unprecedented sensitivity in the optical domain where it is capable of monitoring single DNA molecules and their interaction kinetics.
