Abstract
We adopted the existing light-field synthesizer device [1] as a tool for high harmonic (and attosecond pulse) generation with synthesized optical waveforms. The concept is based on an ultrabroad hollow fiber supercontinuum divided into 3-4 colors representing the channels of the synthesizer. After modifying each channel optically (by adjusting delay, carrier-envelope phase and amplitude), the interferometrically recombined pulse can be used for the high harmonic generation (HHG) process. Due to the large number of free parameters in a 3-4 channel interferometer, we modelled the HHG possibilities of the setup with a tailored genetic algorithm.
