Abstract
Recently it was shown that electric currents in a bulk dielectric could be created and manipulated within one optical cycle of a femtosecond laser pulse [1]. Here, an experimental method is presented which delivers time-resolved information about strong-field processes that occur in dielectric solids during one laser cycle, and moreover reveal the coherence properties.
