Abstract
High energy, multi-octave, optical waveform synthesizers using OPAs/OPCPAs are a promising tool for strong field physics, especially for optimizing high order harmonic generation and isolated attosecond pulse generation [1]. Various approaches have been tried. Nd:YLF or Yb:YAG pumped OPCPAs seed from a broadband Ti:Sapphire oscillator [2] and Ti:Sapphire pump lasers with passively carrier-envelope phase stabilized white light continuum seeds [3] have been demonstrated on various levels.
