Abstract
In recent years, the negatively charged silicon-vacancy (SiV) color center [1] emerged as a steadily growing competitor for other diamond-based systems like e.g. the well-established nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center due to its advantageous spectral properties. As an additional advantage its level system allows for optical access to the electron spin states [2], which we further investigate here.
