Abstract

Nowadays intense broadband THz radiation attracts a lot of attention in imaging and spectroscopic applications [1-2]. Nonlinear propagation of ultrashort THz pulses is another intriguing topic [3]. One of the approaches that allow one to achieve at the same time ultra-broadband THz spectra and very high amplitudes of THz electric fields is two-color filamentation which provides THz pulses with energy up to 7μJ and spectrum ranging from almost zero up to approximately 100 THz [4]. Spectral characterization of broadband THz radiation is not an easy task. One of the most common methods of THz detection is electro-optic sampling [5] with a lack in the detection bandwidth though, which is considerably narrower than the entire spectrum of THz pulses emitted during two-color filamentation.
