Abstract

The interaction of intense, ultra-short laser pulse with a dielectric medium is studied experimentally with ASUR facility (Applications des Sources Ultra-Rapides, beam 5). In the experiments, the pulse energy varies up to 1 mJ, with pulse duration down to 25 fs, and we investigate interactions with peak intensities in the range of 1013 to 1015 W/cm2.
