Abstract

As the last region of the electromagnetic spectrum to be developed, Terahertz (THz) radiation has attracted much research interest in its generation, guidance and detection and its use in spectroscopy and imaging. High transmission using flexible waveguides remains an unsolved problem, limiting the full exploitation of THz technology. Much work has been undertaken in both solid-core and hollow-core polymer waveguides [1-3].
