Abstract

We present three methods for increasing the output brightness from fiber lasers. We start with highly efficient generation of purely radially or azimuthally polarized light within a single multimode fiber laser, next, we coherently add these high order modes fiber lasers, and last, we simultaneously use spectral and coherent additions. With these methods, the output brightness of fiber lasers can be increase by hundreds.
