Abstract

Recently, significant effort has been invested in the generation of ultrafast tunable radiation in the UV region of the spectrum [1, 2], with applications in ultrafast sciences and coherent control. These sources are mainly derived from amplified ultra-short-pulse Ti:Sapphire lasers – starting from fs infra-red pulses and converting their wavelength down into the DUV region.
