Abstract

The generation of ns shaped optical pulses is important for laser driven ICF. We demonstrate the work at LFRC to generate nanosecond shaped pulse based on integrated all fiber systems. Pulse shaping using fast electronic switches method and optical pulse stacking are demonstrated. The former method can generate almost arbitrarily shaped ns pulse, and the later can generate synchronized arbitrarily shaped ns broadband pulse and ultrafast pulse.
