All-organic waveguide coupled solid-state distributed feedback laser

Abstract

Cunent sensor and future lab-on-a-chip systems often rely on laser induced fluorescence techniques. Using external laser sources such systems are bulky and expensive. The integration of laser light sources onto the chip will result in small, portable and flexible systems. The ideal light source is monochromatic, widely tunable and inexpensive.
