Abstract

A linearized dual parallel Mach-Zehnder modulator (DPMZM) based on a new electro-optic (EO) polymer is fabricated, and experimentally demonstrated to suppress the third-order intermodulation distortion (IMD3) in a coherent analog fiber optic link. A total 30dB cancellation of the IMD3 was achieved.
