A High-Compactness Electrically Controlled Beam-Steering Chip

Abstract

A novel high-compactness electrically controlled beam-steering chip was achieved via integrating a liquid crystal optical phased array directly on a coherently coupled VCSEL array. One-dimensional beam steering was successfully realized by the chip.
