Abstract

This paper reports enhanced Rayleigh backscattering points fabricated in single-mode fiber using a femtosecond laser direct-writing technique for the formation of an intrinsic Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) fiber sensor. The temperature sensitivity of the FPI is measured as 7.8pm/°C.
