Talbot Laser with Tunable GHz Repetition Rate using an Electro-Optic Frequency Shifter

Abstract

We use an electro-optic frequency shifter in a Talbot laser to demonstrate pulse multiplication factors up to five using temporal fractional Talbot effect and achieve pulse repetition rates of tens of GHz.
