Asynchronous and synchronous dual-wavelength pulse generation in a non-zero-dispersion fiber laser

Abstract

We show both asynchronous and synchronous, dual-wavelength femtosecond pulse generation from an SWNT-mode-locked fiber laser by tailoring the intracavity anomalous dispersion, suggesting the effect of the mode-locker on pulse synchronization in the presence of dispersion.
