Abstract

A plasmo-thermomechanical IR detector based on suspended bilayer nanowire array is demonstrated. The detector exhibits an absorption coefficient of 0.0494. The maximum difference in S21 between the radiation on and off states is 0.013 with a radiation intensity of 0.1 mW/µm2.
