Abstract

Near infrared photoimmunotherapy (NIR-PIT) is a new type of molecularly-targeted cancer photo-therapy based on antibody-photosensitizer conjugates. By crashing cancer or immuno-suppressor cells, NIR-PIT efficiently activates host immunity against NIR-PIT treated cancer cells growing in patients.
