Gas Mapping LiDAR for large-area leak detection and emissions monitoring applications

Abstract

We present gas mapping LiDAR that combines coherent ranging and path-integrated gas concentration measurements. Spatial scanning of the LiDAR beam produces high-quality, georegistered imagery of terrestrial scenes for precise localization and quantification of gas plumes.
