Abstract

Double-layered guided-mode resonance (GMR) biosensor is designed to achieve an ultra-high sensitivity of 937.64 nm/RIU based on photonic crystal slabs. In addition, we demonstrate a theoretical study of such high-performance sensor for single nanoparticle detection.
