Abstract

Synchronous-asynchronous laser mode-locking transition is experimentally investigated with a 10-GHz hybrid mode-locked fiber soliton laser. Laser pulse parameters under varying detuning frequency are measured and the experimental results show fair agreement with the theoretical prediction.
