Femtosecond Four-Wave Mixing from Near-Infrared to Mid-Infrared in a Tellurite Step-Index Fiber

Abstract

Based on a tellurite step-index fiber, femtosecond four-wave mixing from near-infrared to mid-infrared is achieved. The signal can be tuned from 1550 to 1434 nm, and idler can be generated from 1757 to 2400 nm.
