Abstract

980-nm angled cavity lasers with asymmetric high-order surface grating and longitudinal photonic crystal structure are designed and fabricated. The power of 847 mW/facet, FWHM of 1.5°×10.6°, and spectral linewidth of 0.0729 nm are obtained.
