Simple Apparatus for Converting Standard Sources of Linearly-Polarized High Harmonics into Sources of Circularly-Polarized High Harmonics

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a compact apparatus for generating circularly-polarized high-harmonics. Inserting the apparatus into the pump beamline of a standard system generating linearly-polarized high-harmonics, converts it into a source of circularly-polarized high-harmonics.
