Bi-Directional Space-Time Coded Reconfigurable Board-to-Board Free-Space Optical Interconnects

Abstract

A space-time coded bi-directional reconfigurable board-to-board free-space optical interconnect is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Results show that the space-time-coding can reduce the impact of crosstalk and extend the interconnection range by >48% in both directions.
