3.38kW (3+1) GT-wave Fiber

Abstract

We fabricated and reported on a (3+1) GT-wave fiber allowed for bi-directional pump method. 3.38 kW laser output at 1064 nm with an optical-to-optical efficiency of 72.6% was achieved with this (3+1) GT-wave fiber amplifier.
