Abstract

We obtained average power/pulse energy of ~1W/5μJ at ~3520nm wavelength via difference-frequency generation in periodically poled lithium niobate using an all-fiber, few-ns pulsed laser source operating at 1064nm and a 10mW continuous-wave 1525 nm single-frequency diode laser.
