Abstract

We demonstrate soliton self-frequency shifted Very-Large-Mode-Area and Higher-Order-Mode fiber amplifiers. The output wavelength is shifted more than 50 nm with a soliton pulse energy of up to 186 nJ. Subsequent, high-efficiency, frequency doubling is demonstrated.
