Generating Structural Colors from Dielectric Surface Resonances

Abstract

We proposes a new structural color generation mechanism that produces colors by the Fano resonance effect. We experimentally realize the proposed idea by fabricating the samples that show resonance-induced colors with weak angular dependence.
