Generation of Wideband Radio Frequency Signals Carrying Orbital Angular Momentum Based on Microwave Photonics Phase Shifter

Abstract

A novel way to generate the wideband radio frequency (RF) signals carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) by phase shifting using optical spectrum processor is proposed. Stable RF-OAM signals with topological charge l = ±1 have been generated.
