Cladding Mode Recoupling based Displacement Sensor by Concatenating Up Taper and Chirped Fiber Bragg Grating

Abstract

Displacement sensor based on the cladding modes recoupling by using fiber up taper cascaded with chirped fiber Bragg grating is demonstrated. The reflection power difference reaches 135 µW within displacement change of 3750 µm.
