Supercontinuum Generation in Short Soft Glass Microstructured Fibers Pumped by Quasi-CW Laser

Abstract

For the first time we investigate supercontinuum generation in highly nonlinear tellurite microstructured fibers with various core diameters pumped by quasi-CW laser. The fibers used are as short as several tens of centimeters.
