Dispersion of the Third-Order Nonlinear Optical Response of Organics Using a Few State Model

Abstract

Dispersion of the third-order nonlinear optical response can be predicted using a perturbative few-state model approach with knowledge of the linear and two-photon absorption spectra. This approach has been applied toward polymethines and squaraines.
