Abstract

We demonstrate high-efficient THz pulse generation with optical rectification in LiNbO3. Narrowed spectral bandwidth of subpicosecond optical excitation pulse suppresses stimulated Raman scattering, leading to the highest energy conversion efficiency of 0.21 % into THz pulse.
