Direct Measurement of Surface Plasmon Properties on Different Metals using Terahertz Time-Domain Spectroscopy

Abstract

We directly measure the dielectric properties of different metals relevant to plasmonics using a modified THz time-domain spectroscopy approach. The computed permittivity values differ significantly from published data, but agree well with other measured parameters.
