Resonantly pumped, Q-Switched Nd:YLF Laser

Abstract

We developed a compact, efficient Nd:YLF laser that produced 25-mJ of energy in a 8-ns pulse at 20 Hz. By resonantly pumping at 863 nm, 10% improvement in the slope efficiency was obtained.
