Polarization Characteristics of a Two-Mirror Azimuth and Elevation Laser Beam Scanner

Abstract

A miniature lidar beam steering unit was developed and used to determine the effect of the mirror coatings on the transmitted state of polarization. Results will be presented for pairs of mirrors with different coatings.
