Dual-Frequency Laser Doppler Velocimeter for Speckle Noise Reduction

Abstract

We develop a dual-frequency laser Doppler velocimeter based on an optically-injected semiconductor laser. Spectral broadening suffered from the speckle noise is much suppressed benefitted by the longer effective wavelength.
