Experimental Demonstration of a Smooth Evolution Scheme from Conventional TDM-PON to TDM-OFDM-PON

Abstract

We proposed a smooth evolution scheme from conventional TDM-PON to TDM-OFDM-PON. We show by experiment that a TDM-OFDM-PON OLT can support upstream and downstream transmissions for conventional TDM-PON ONUs to achieve cost-effective.
