Learning-based Symbol Classification in Stokes Space for 4-PolSK Visible Light Communication Signals

Abstract

We propose a 4-PolSK system for a 450-nm single-LED indoor visible light communication link. The Stokes space symbols are classified via learning algorithms scoring a BER below the FEC limit for a noise variance under 0.4-nW.s..
